I have a wonderful mother-in-law. Let’s just call her Grandma Janet. She has lots of fun with her family and I’ve enjoyed many a meal in her home. Laughing is almost a prerequisite when I visit. Once in awhile she bakes a raisin pie. And it isn’t no A&P raisin pie. It’s the best in the world. I’ve got a picture of it this week. Nobody makes it as good as Grandma Janet. This piece lasted about 60 seconds before I scarfed it down.
Things are certainly heating up in Afghanistan. You could almost see this happening. Canada commits to the mission way back in 2001. However, for the longest time we get to patrol through the capital Kabul. When Canadian troops switched over to Kandahar, it was only a matter of time before Canadians lost thier lives. Now with Canadian blood freshly spilled there the political debate is heating up. Read about it by clicking on At Issue.
