Piston Disappointment, Spring Planting, East West, Pictures of My Ideas

How about those Cavs? Yes, it is a real disappointment for me. As you surely know I bleed Piston blue. However, Lebron James is truly the King of the Eastern Conference now. Hopefully my Pistons will be back next year.

It’s been a long time since I’ve updated Phil’s News. It’s not that there hasn’t been any news. It’s simply a point that there has been so much news I haven’t had any time to publish it. Whewwwww, what a spring? With no wheat in the ground, spring work turned into a marathon.

However, I don’t have a monopoly on work. Everybody works hard. That came after quite an eventful winter season where I had 7 speaking engagements across Southern Ontario. The grain markets were boiling this past winter. I hope I didn’t confuse too many people.

In the meantime there has been a lot publishing. East West has been full of intriguing things. Dr. Haque has spent quite a bit of time lately in China and Bangkok Thailand. We can actually hookup and videoconference over the internet now. That’s not revolutionary. People have been doing that for years. Take a look at the following pictures. I’m listing a few of the pictures and graphics I’ve made over the last few months, which showcased my ideas for my different columns. I always wanted to write this way with illustrations. Thankfully the internet has given me that opportunity.

On June 4th I wrote about the 1960’s and some of the ideals coming out of that time. Click on At Issue for more.

What you can’t see won’t hurt you. Is that the case? Well, not necessarily so. What’s falling over Southwestern Ontario can actually hurt you. Page thru the At Issue archives to find out.

There is no greater tragedy in Canadian history than the Air India mass murder. 22 years out Canadians now are only getting the real answers. Still, it doesn’t get any better for the families of the victims. Shame on Canada for letting them down. Check it out in At Issue.
