East West Showcases Afghanistan, Sidedressing Nitrogen and “the Bomb” Picture


Nitrogen is one of the essential nutrients for corn production.  This is me applying some 28% nitrogen last week in some of those corn fields pictured below.

Click on At Issue and Under the Agridome for some great pieces this week.  You might wonder about that “bomb” in the field picture by clicking on the Agridome.  That’s a real explosion which took place back in the early 1980’s.  Contractors were brought in who blew up an old silo with dynamite.  I guess you could say the camera was clicked just at the right time!  I’ve included this pic below.
